Pray
Our greatest desire at Chosen and Cherished Ministries is to raise these children in a way that honors the Lord. Please partner with us in praying for these beautiful children that have experienced way too much injustice already in their short sweet lives. Pray for healing as these children continue to grow, that each one would make a choice to accept Jesus in their lives. Commit to praying for these children daily to grow up to be incredible examples of Christ’s love.
Host a Fundraiser
Not everyone has been called to Haiti but anyone can be a part of helping out the children. Hosting a simple fundraiser can be a great way to inform people about Chosen and Cherished Ministries. Here are a few simple ideas of fundraising you could do right in your own community.

The costs of running a household of 11 requires a lot of funding! Groceries for one day average $75. That is $525 a week or $2,100 a month!The cost of rent is $1400 a month not including utilities
Schooling is $3000 a month for 10 children. (This includes tuition, school supplies uniforms, ect) That is $30,000 a year for education. Because there is really no "free" schooling in Haiti, if a child is to be educated, it has to be paid for.
There are, of course the other costs such as clothing, utilities, fuel for vehicle and generator, clean drinking water, healthcare, etc.

Raising ten growing children takes a lot! Whether it is clothing, school supplies, toiletries or the more enjoyable side of toys and fun, we have a huge need.
